First Day Out

Saying it was a big weekend for us and the Capri is a bit of an understatement...

The Capri took a little trip out to Elkhart Lake’s Road America in Wisconsin for the WeatherTech® International Challenge with Brian Redman, where it showed off its beautifully restored form at the Concours d’Elegance for one of the largest vintage racing events in the United States.  Lucky for us, we weren’t the only people who couldn’t keep their eyes off of the Capri…

Not only did the Capri place First in it’s class for Friday’s Concours, it also clinched “Best of Show” for the entire event! Not bad for it’s first day out.

Take a look at some pictures we took, as well as Road America’s recap video.

Dyno Test - 6/23/2017

Many of the finishing touches have been completed on our 1972 Ford Capri RS2600, and does it look good! This week, we were able to to see it drive for the first time and got it on the dyno to test it's performance.  Take a look at the video above and see for yourself.

Almost There!

We're nearing the completion of our Cologne built 1972 Ford Capri RS2600!  After more than 6 months; the wheels are back on the car, the engine has been started, and the finishing touches are being wrapped up at RM Motorsports.  It's safe to say that we're more than ecstatic to see the amazing progress that has been made and we simply cannot wait to see the end result.

We have a number of events lined up in the coming months and we're excited to show off this beautiful and historic touring car.  We'll be sharing more information regarding said events in the coming weeks as we prepare the car for showings.

Until then, make sure to check back often for updates on the Capri's progress!
